ALBACO SHOES SHPK COMPANY IS THE LANDMARK FOR THE DISTRIBUTION OF COFRA BRAND THROUGHOUT THE BALKANS
Founded in the 90s, it is one of the most successful manufacturing companies in Albania in the safety footwear sector.
Thanks to the direct link with COFRA S.r.l, the Italian mother company leader in PPE market in Europe, has transformed Albaco Shoes into the main distributor for the Balkans and especially for countries such as Albania, Kosovo, Macedonia and Montenegro.
1.100 people directly employed in the production of shoe uppers, 600 people directly employed in the application of soles, 100 people employed in two production lines of work clothing in cutting, wrapping and packaging operations.
The plant sited in Tirana is structured to meet any request coming from East markets and any work needs by offering all COFRA products:
- the widest range of safety footwear on the market, the only line 'SPECIALS' includes the widest range of products which protect against specific risks.
- a wide range of products to satisfy protection needs also against risks caused by extreme temperatures, chemicals and against adverse weather conditions, by paying attention, particularly, to functionality and ergonomics to ensure maximum freedom of movement.
- a line of protective gloves designed according to the principles that have always distinguished COFRA, leader in the world of safety at work: protection, maximum attention to comfort and to details.

GREEN ENERGY
The capacity of the photovoltaic system is 600 kW; it is able to produce 850 MW per year.
The photovoltaic system covers the 15% of the company’s annual energy demand.
